Christmas is all about time of joy, giving, and togetherness. its about celebrating together sharing happiness , giving and receivong gifts, visiting our loved ones. we, the students of Mother Teresa College of Teacher Education celebrated christmas grantly. we were able to conduct a tableau, a procession which covered whole college campus. we cut cake and exchanged gifts to our friends. it was a moment of joy.

ABOLITION OF SLAVERY

 "Those who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for themselves; and, under a just God, cannot long retain it".

NSS in collaboration with English Department conducted programmes as a part of international day for the abolition of slavery. The programmes included a flash mob and movie screening.

CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION

 "Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow." - Jawaharlal Nehru

November 14 is celebrated as Children's Day.This date marks the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, who was fondly called "Chacha Nehru" or "Uncle Nehru" by children. Our college, Mother Teresa College of Teacher Education, Perambra in collaboration with National Service Scheme has grantly celebrated Children's Day. Programmes were conducted at Marutheri Mappila LP School.

Rally were conducted where students held pluck cards. A token of love, Payasam was distributed to small buds of Marutheri Mappila LP School. quiz programme and cultural programmes conducted. gifts were given to them. We, as student teachers it was the first experience in engaging with students. we really enjoyed spending time with them. at the same time we realized how difficult and how much patience we need to engage with them. It was such a overwhelming experience.

ADVAYA COLLEGE UNION 2022-2024

The college union in B.Ed colleges plays a multifaceted role in enhancing the educational experience, promoting student welfare, and nurturing well-rounded individuals. The newly formed Advaya college union in Mother Teresa College of Teacher Education, Perambra aspires to be a platform for students to voice their concerns, needs, and interests. They assured that they will acts as a bridge between the student body and the college administration, ensuring that student perspectives are considered well. As a first year representative, a member of college union , i hope that i will be able to learn to manage teams, communicate effectively, and make decisions collectively.

College union inauguaration and fine arts inauguration was coducted on the same day. The programme schedule is given below.

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

 Mother Teresa College of Teacher Education, Perambra in collaboration with The Kerala State Higher Education Council, Thiruvanathapuram, Tamil NaduTeachers Education University, Chennai and All India Association for Educational Research, Bhubaneswar organized Three day International conference based on the theme "TRANSFORMING INDIAN HIGHER EDUCATION FOR A NEW WORLD ORDER: Envisions, Roadmaps and Implementation". The conference was held from 3/11/2022 to 5/11/2022.

INDUCTION CEREMONY

 Induction ceremony shed first light towards the formal begining of my journey in to teaching. It was such a delightful experience to be a part of such ceremony. I was astonished by how the teachers and seniors co-ordinated the event. The speeches, prayers in that ceremony directly permeated in to our hearts . This came to be an inspiration for our future career as teachers.
