November 14 is celebrated as Children's Day.This date marks the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, who was fondly called "Chacha Nehru" or "Uncle Nehru" by children. Our college, Mother Teresa College of Teacher Education, Perambra in collaboration with National Service Scheme has grantly celebrated Children's Day. Programmes were conducted at Marutheri Mappila LP School.
Rally were conducted where students held pluck cards. A token of love, Payasam was distributed to small buds of Marutheri Mappila LP School. quiz programme and cultural programmes conducted. gifts were given to them. We, as student teachers it was the first experience in engaging with students. we really enjoyed spending time with them. at the same time we realized how difficult and how much patience we need to engage with them. It was such a overwhelming experience.
